Burn, baby, burn! *disco inferno!*Anyway. Yesterday was my friends birthday! *Happy Birthday Blake!* And we went to go see Dukes of Hazzard, which was really fun! We almost forgot one of my friends... we were walking into the movie theater and we're like 'Oh crap! Evan might come!' but it turned out he wasn't. Sorry anyway, Evan XD The movie was nothing like the actual show, but it was full of awesome-ness anyway. Just 'cause.
And the Friday before that, there was a lock-in at my church. We have one every year, and they're always really fun, but this one wasn't not fun (attack of the double negatives - ooh, what now yo? ) Yeah but anyway it was really awesome lol. We did the video scavenger hunt and my team won! w00t! We got back and ate steak and tater tots while listening to Irony9 (we were supposed to eat it while watching Napolean Dynamite but we didn't). Irony9 was really cool! They were a hard rock band and we went to the front and did this freaky little mosh pit thing and were bumpin into each other and crap XD Then Remidee came up and did a rap thing and we danced to that too (the white girl side of me came out XD) Then we all just hung around and played games and got high on sugar and caffeine the rest of the night.
Well that's about all that's happened in the past month XD School starts in a week, and I'm dreading it! x_X;; Summer seemed so short! And I still haven't read all my summer reading books... I have to finish Jane Eyre and The Double Helix: A Personal Account of the History of the Discovery of the Structure of DNA. The books about as boring as the title, if not more. The dude switches subjects so fast you don't know what he's talking about! And don't get me started on Jane Eyre... that book goes on about nothing! All of chapter 5 was about burnt porridge.... _burnt_ _porridge_. It's horrible. And I still have to write my journals for Lord of the Flies. I actually liked that book, believe it or not XP
